



Annual Mohawk Athletic Association Fundraiser and events:
DOUG TURNER WALK-A-THON:
Annual all day event at the Mohawk Trail Regional School campus, named after Doug
Turner, a much beloved Mohawk graduate, father,coach & friend to all, who passed away
unexpectedly in 2003. Events include walk-a-thon, team games, music, raffles and fun for all
ages. Usually takes place on the first weekend in October.

BOTTLE/CAN/PLASTIC REDEMPTION:
On-going redemption of recyclable bottles, cans, and plastic containers from local town
recycling centers. Volunteer MAA members gather, separate & deliver items to redemption
centers for reimbursement year-round.

BRIDGE OF FLOWERS DINNER:
Annual summer dinner served on the bridge usually in August. MAA receive donations from
dinner. Mohawk athletes donate time preparing and serving meals.

GOLF TOURNAMENT:
Scheduled to take place annually in June at Edge Hill Golf Course.

CLOTHING:
We are the sole provider for clothing with the Mohawk logo. We offer coats, sweatshirts, shorts, T-shirts, hats, as well
as gym bags, key lanyards, ect.

50/50 RAFFLE:
Will take place at all home football and basketball games provided we have volunteers to sell the tickets. If you are
willing to help or would like more info

CONCESSIONS:
Food will be sold at home basketball games provided we have people willing to bake goods and others willing to work
the table selling the food.

HOLIDAY WREATHS:
Native decorated wreaths are sold in November. Pre-orders will be taken and, any left will be sold at Moonlight
Madness in Shelburne Falls the evening after Thanksgiving.
